Ramya Koteshwar is an aspiring Company Secretary currently pursuing CS Professional course from ICSI and at the same time undergoing mandatory training prescribed by the ICSI.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accountancy from Christ University, Bengaluru. She is a keen learner and intends to gain knowledge and experience on various corporate and secretarial matters.

In her leisure time, she enjoys listening to music, dancing & reading novels. During weekends she loves going outdoors & explore nature.

Hailing from Namma Bengaluru, Rithik Shankar is a freshly minted Commerce graduate currently pursuing CS Executive. Aiming to be a Qualified Company Secretary, his interest lies in Company Law, Accounting & GST Law. His hobbies include playing cricket and reading books, especially on finance and stock market. Rithik carries a positive attitude and is determined to learn new things in life.

Amritha Vittal Puranik hails from coastal town of Udupi in Karnataka. She is a commerce graduate and has cleared CS Executive level of Company Secretary course in February 2022. She is pursuing CS Professional course while simultaneously undergoing mandatory training prescribed by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Amritha is keen to develop her understanding on core subjects and gain rich experience in corporate matters. She also intends to explore the emerging area of Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws. She aims to be a qualified professional by the end of her training period with thorough knowledge and expertise in various laws.

In her spare time, she loves listening to different genres of music, capturing photographs and going to beaches (something that she misses since the time she has been in Bangalore). She has pursued a short-term course in digital marketing as well. During weekends she loves to go on long walks and explore the city.

Anjali Bhat hails from the coastal town of Udupi. An aspiring Company Secretary currently pursuing Company Secretary from ICSI at professional level, she completed her Bachelor’s in Commerce from Mangalore University. She intends to have exposure in Corporate & Secretarial matters connected with diversified line of industries.

Her interests are varied that include crafts, music and exploring new places. Creative and positive minded, Anjali is a go getter who aims for perfection in her deliverables. She is proud that others can rely on her to get the things done within the stipulated time frame.

Rajeswari J Pai is a relatively new member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and aims to contribute towards the growth of the profession. A Konkani at heart, raised in Kerala, graduated in Commerce from Mangalore and thereafter relocated to Bangalore for pursuing Company Secretaries course, she has imbibed the best of values from all these places where she has spent crucial years of her life.

Rajeswari’s areas of professional interest include handling various secretarial matters & compliances under the Companies Act, 2013 and drafting of NCLT applications and legal opinions. She believes that in order to be a good professional, one not only needs to have good knowledge in core subjects but also possess certain soft skills. She is keen to work on both the aspects to become a better professional. Rajeswari’s leisure time activities include watching movies and dabbling at acrylic art. Being a music lover, she has recently begun learning to play a Ukulele.

Pushkalaa Kalyan is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons.) degree and BCom degree from Chennai and has now made Bengaluru her home.

Her core area of expertise includes all Compliance Management Services related to Company Law, FEMA & LLP laws. Her experience spreads across various areas starting from Incorporation of Company, post incorporation activities, fund raising transactions, conducting Board and Shareholders Meetings, day to day secretarial compliances to filing of forms with the ROC. She has also been actively involved in conducting due diligence of many companies engaged in various business sectors. A good communicator, she actively liaisons and coordinates with the top management of Clients, Statutory Auditors, Authorities and others to meet the compliance requirements well on time. She believes in constantly challenging herself to embrace new learning experiences by observing others as well as by discovering her innate potential.

A voracious reader with an ear for music, she loves spending time with family and friends and is passionate about travelling.

Chirag Narasimiah is an independent legal counsel with over five years’ experience providing bespoke legal advice to a variety of clients including start-ups, business conglomerates, and investment funds on a wide range of matters spanning venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and business advisory (which includes a gamut of commercial contracts), sports law, and gaming laws.

An alumnus of Gujarat National Law University, Chirag was initially associated with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, New Delhi, and then with Khaitan & Co, Bengaluru (more recently as a Senior Associate), working with the general corporate and commercial practices at two of the foremost full-service law firms in India.

Chirag is an avid sports fan and considers himself a keen armchair analyst with a zealous interest for live sport, particularly cricket and football.

Trupti Hegde is a commerce graduate from Karnataka University, Dharwad. Hailing from Sirsi, she is pursuing CS course and is aiming to cross the finish line soon as a qualified Company Secretary. A quiet, dependable team player, her areas of interest include Accounting, Financial Management and Company Law.

Trupti’s personal interests include crafting, drawing & singing. She enjoys music, cricket, movies and novels. Her mantra : “Self belief and hard work will always earn success”.

Krithika Murali is an aspiring Company Secretary currently pursuing CS Professional Course from ICSI. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Jain University, Bangalore. While working towards gaining the coveted (ACS) title and joining the CS fraternity soon, she underwent her Training as stipulated by ICSI, focusing on gaining knowledge and practical exposure of the workings of the CS Profession. Her fields of interest include Company law, Securities Markets/ Capital markets, Foreign Exchange Management Act and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. She is a keen learner, team player, enthusiastic and meticulous worker who thrives to come out on top and aims at creating an identity for herself as an accomplished and successful professional amongst her peers and colleagues.

A true Bangalorian at heart, she explores rare places and restaurants in Bangalore, when she is not at work. She explores her creative side through sketching, painting and doodling. Watching movies and listening to music are few other things that keep her busy on the weekends.

While she may easily pass off as a school girl, Krithika is a sprightly, bubbly young lady who you can trust with your professional matters !

Ratnamala Hegde is a commerce graduate and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She has a Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws from NUJS, Kolkata. She has been associated with S. C. Sharada for more than 13 years and is currently working as Principal Associate.

Her expertise and experience spreads across various areas including all secretarial matters i.e. company incorporation, post incorporation services, assistance in conducting Board & shareholders Meetings, maintenance of registers, filings with ROC, Due Diligence, fund raising, drafting of agreements, MOUs, petitions, opinions, notes, FEMA compliances, SEZ, export promotion schemes etc. She also has an experience of liaisoning with various government authorities like Registrar of Companies, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, National Company Law Tribunal etc.

Being the senior most employee of the organisation, Ratnamala is a very good team player who guides and motivates the team members to achieve the objectives of the firm. She is known for her punctuality, discipline, diligence & accountability which has earned her the respect and admiration of clients and colleagues consistently. As a key member of the team, she has shaped the values and ethos of SCS&A and has contributed immensely to its growth over the years.

When she is not glued to a computer screen, she spends time in singing, painting, reading and listening to music.

Sreenivasan Narasimhan is a Company Secretary (CS) as well as law graduate from CMR Law School, Bangalore. Having joined the CS fraternity, he intends to scope out new areas in which a CS may practice.

Sreenivasan currently advises startups and multinational companies on varied areas of the Companies Act, 2013 and FEMA. He also advises not-for-profits such as Sec. 8 Companies, Trusts and Societies on compliance and governance matters.

He is a public-spirited person who wishes to imbibe legal awareness among his friends, family and colleagues. His main goal is to bring about ease of compliance so that entrepreneurs feel the ease of doing business. Sreenivasan believes that knowledge should keep transferring for human thoughts to evolve.

Sreenivasan’s fondness for public speaking, beach towns, spy thrillers and mob series keeps him busy during his off days.

S.C. Sharada is a Company Secretary and law graduate with 25 years of professional corporate experience. Prior to setting up her own firm (Lex Valorem India) in 2006, she was the Company Secretary and Legal Counsel of Buhler India Pvt. Ltd., a swiss MNC in Bangalore, handling Legal, Company Secretarial, Indirect Taxes and Banking matters. Currently she is offering company secretarial and legal consulting services to start-ups, joint ventures, wholly owned subsidiaries and not-for-profit companies in their various growth phases, across industry sectors. She believes in enabling and empowering her young team and takes pride in having groomed several Company Secretaries as ethical professionals.

Sharada was on the advisory Board of a technology company in the agri-business space for about 5 years and is currently on the advisory board of an e-commerce company. She is associated with incubators such as NSRCEL @ IIM, Bangalore and Social Alpha, a Tata Trust entity advising them as well as their incubatees on regulatory compliances and governance matters.

Sharada is an alumni of IIM, Bangalore, having completed the Fast Track General Management Programme in 2004. In 2011, she was the first woman President of the IIMB Orators Club, a renowned Toastmasters club in Bangalore. She is certified as an Advanced Communicator and Advanced Leader by the Toastmasters International, USA. In 2013, she successfully completed the ‘Women on Corporate Boards’ mentoring programme of FICCI.

Sharada was the first woman Chairman of the Bangalore chapter of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in 2014. She has been a Member of the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the ICSI during 2019 and has been nominated to the Secretarial Standards Board (SSB) of ICSI for the year 2020. She is also a Member of the PCS Committee of the SIRC of ICSI for the year 2020. In the past, she has served as Member of the State Taxes Committee of Bangalore Chamber of Industries & Commerce (BCIC), Corporate Affairs Committee of FKCCI and Jury Member for Manthan, a Business Plan Contest of FKCCI. She has addressed students, professionals and entrepreneurs on Companies Act, corporate governance and startup issues at ICSI, NSRCEL, Deshpande Foundation, Hubli, Social Alpha & TiECON, Mysuru. She loves writing and has been publishing a e-newsletter called ‘Samhita’ for the last 10 years which is a potpourri of regulatory updates, compliance reminders and her take on different aspects of life as it pans out. It is well received both by professionals as well as the public at large.

Having successfully battled cancer, Sharada has many life-lessons to offer and is grateful to the ‘People Power’ that she enjoys.

Poornima Jayarao is a commerce graduate from Osmania University, Hyderabad and also holds a Diploma in Personal Secretaryship from Davar’s College of Commerce, Bangalore. She has more than 10 years of experience working with various multinational companies as Executive Secretary and Public Relation Officer at Bangalore & Mumbai. Effective communication, advance planning, organizing, on-time delivery and perfect execution are her greatest strengths. Having bounced back to work after a long gap she is always ready to take up new tasks and challenges. She believes that everyday is a new beginning and learning for her.

A quick learner, Poornima is a talented multi-tasker who can be relied upon at all times to rise to the occasion. She is a trained Carnatic vocal singer and her passion is gardening, dancing and helping the needy. In her free time she loves to spend time with nature.

K N Subramanya hails from Thirthahalli in Shimoga district and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.  He has varied experience of managing the accounts of a co-operative society, being a key member of a team that implemented issue of Election ID Cards way back in the ‘90s, managing the ID card issue at Aero India Shows for 3 years, handling the administration and accounting work of IIMB Executive Education Alumni Association and the like.

Extremely organised and hardworking, at SCS&A, Subramanya handles the entire compliances ranging from accounts, audit, tax payments, debtor realisation, filing of returns, payroll, banking etc. to office upkeep, maintenance of IT systems, stocking up pantry snacks to keeping the office environment green and healthy.

A multi-tasker, with keen interest in literature, theatre, sports and gardening, he has been associated with the firm since inception and goes beyond the call of duty to work with integrity and diligence.  Over the years, he has transformed himself to fit into many roles and play them well. Thanks to his ‘green thumb’, visitors to the office are welcomed by green plants and lovely flowers set in an ‘outdoor cafe type reception.  No wonder they feel energised and rejuvenated to step in to SCS&A office!

A no-nonsense person, Subramanya, known for his merciless and consistent follow ups is strongly ‘disliked’ by customers who ‘hate’ receiving his reminders for payment!

Ashwini Hegde, Associate Company Secretary is a B.com graduate from the Karnataka University Dharwad. She hails from a small town Sirsi, Karnataka. Having worked as an article trainee and an associate since 2016, she has made her mark in the firm and among the clients.

She possesses thorough knowledge of the Companies Act and allied laws. She is known for clear communication, professional client coordination, quick turnaround time and team work. She has set high standards in completing the assignments well within the targeted dates and with perfection.

She has handled various kinds of work under the Companies Act provisions and RBI-FEMA guidelines, servicing some of the long time marque clients of the firm.

Her areas of interest are drawing, gardening and spending quality time with her family.
